Privacy policy.
Short version: your screenshots never leave your iPhone.
Swept never uploads your screenshots or their text. There's no account, no sign-up and no tracking. The only data that leaves your device is an anonymous purchase record, used to check whether your subscription is active.
Your photos
Swept asks for access to your photo library to find your screenshots. Reading the text inside them, sorting them into categories and spotting look-alikes all happen on your device, using Apple's built-in frameworks. Screenshots, their text and the categories are never uploaded to any server.
What's stored on your iPhone
To remember which screenshots you kept and what they say, Swept saves a small index in the app's private storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
Notifications
If you turn on the Sunday sweep, Swept schedules a local notification on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Purchases (the only data collected)
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history, never your name, email or photos. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Children
Swept isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect any data from them.
